One of the easiest, and fastest things you can do with extra herb clippings is to make an herb drink. Herb waters are fantastic, healthy drinks for summer. If you’re trying to cut calories or you want low sugar summer drinks or party drinks, herbal waters are a great option.
Making Herbal Waters
You can make infused water out of whatever you have lying around, but today I’m focusing on two herbs that us gardeners often have a lot of: mint and lemon balm.
Here are 3 easy flavored water recipes you can make with these two herbs.
The first features pineapple and mint and is great for energy filled summer days. Amp up your pineapple infused water with a refreshing hit of mint.
The second uses cucumber and lemon balm, which is calming and relaxing. Cucumber infused water is popular, but pairing it with lemon balm makes for an interesting twist.
The third uses both mint and lemon balm together, a favorite for sipping before bed to calm both the mind and the body.
