This was a question I wondered a lot when I was younger. I couldn’t understand why people would go through the trouble of growing their own food or why they would spend hours in the garden. 

Oh, how times have changed. 

The health benefits to gardening are deep. Far beyond what you might initially think. 

Gardens and food gardens in particular offer so much more than just a pretty place to look at or hang out outside. The health benefits that come with a garden are truly extraordinary.
