Beautiful Spring Season means lighter and fresher foods
Eating with the seasons is an amazing thing we can do both for our health and to improve the taste of the food we eat. Spring season foods can seem challenging since it seems like not much is growing yet. But in fact, there are a ton of herbs and vegetables available at this time of year. Yes northerners, this means you too.
When we’re done with the heavy, rich winter foods, we want something fresher. Thankfully most spring season foods are naturally light and fresh.
In this video, I’ll talk about what it looks like to eat seasonally in Spring. I’ll give you 5 easy to find vegetables that are ideal at this time of year, and that can be found at many well stocked grocery stores. If you can source out a local four season farm, even better! And bonus points if you grow some of these in your own yard.
